Hello All, I am looking to find out the average bounce rate for a normal website? Every time I look at my analytics campaign I see my own, but i never know if this is good or bad. Best Regards, Nick
I agree with clive... Bouce rate shows you to know whether the user really liked your pages in your website. more the bounce rate then more you have to concentrate on your contents.
your bounce rate should be under 50% as much as it decreased it's good for ur site it's not prefered to be over 70%
more bounce rate is not good at all about your site. try to make changes on your website and attract the users to click more pages, then u will get a chance to reduce bounce rate.
If you're under 70% you're doing okay, if under 50% your fine 30% and under is ideal though! I don't know anyone who's ever gotten lower than 20% though. It would be interesting to know people's lowest and highest. Anyone care to share...? My lowest has been 31%, and highest with one of my websites was 76%
Bounce rate that is lower than 50% is Good. So if you try to manage your bounce rate between 25%-45%, you can make good with your website.
A few months ago, I was holding steady at 19%. Since then, it's gone up a little bit. Usually, I'm right around 30-35%. From what I've read, you should be happy with anything under 50%. If you've got a bounce rate that is very high, you need to figure out why - and what you can do to make your site better for your visitors.
