Hi, With a daily 6000 page views, I'm getting around 0.80 to 1.4% CTR. Is that good or it can be made better?

What is your avg daily page views & CTR?

    Please share your thoughts.

That's pretty bad actually but I believe it could be niche related.

My CTR for December is a little over 33% with a little over 39,000 impressions. My niche is business related and the people that visit my site are looking for business products and such.

November's CTR was right in the same range... within .25% of my December numbers and the total impressions for November are a little over 100,000.

My guess is that your CTR is a combo of your ads, your niche and whether your traffic is targeted or not.

A 33% ctr is extremely exceptional.
Around 5% is a workable average.

I have a website with over 300.000 page impressions/day and a average click trough rate of 0.8%, so I would be happy with 1%. Then again, it varies a lot depending on the website niche, one some type of websites 1% can be considered low.

I always try to reach a minimum of 5% CTR, until I can reach that I try to improve my ad placement.
But I don't own any forum, I know CTR in forum is extremely low. Also I don't own any online flash games sites, as the CTR is also very low (and the CPC too).
So yes, for me your CTR is too small.

Anything with a CTR at all is good IMO. But if you want it to go up, try experimenting with your ad placement for at least a month at a time for the most accurate results.

I've heard the average being 2-3 percent, so I guess 1 percent isn't that good. Try messing around with the placement and possibly blending them in better with the overall feel of your site. It could also just be your niche and your ads aren't relating well, resulting in low CTR.

1% is pretty bad. I normally received 15-20% CTR in my blogs and websites. Ad placements play a vital role to attract visitors to click on your ads. Changing template also helps! Work on that stuffs to generate more clicks.
