I have watched both movies and I can say that I still prefer AVatar because of great effects and its something new and different unlike with Alice which is just a replay so its something which you already anticipated so the thrill were no longer that intense unlike when I am watching Avatar

Alice wasn't anything spectacular in the visual department.
IMO Very few movies have actually done 3d right (avatar being one of them)
