Avatar or Titanic?

Both are good. But I will go with Avatar here for it shows love of human and alien creature inseparable, with their cause to fight for the planet captured in forcible manner.

 

Very close. I thought there would be a much bigger gap between the to.

 

Titanic is definitively better, that's my choice. And also I really dislike Avatar, for no reason really.

Both are my favorite movies, it is very difficult to me to vote to one movie.

 

The more and more i watch Avatar i just constantly feel the Pocohantes reference. Great movie but feel the story not entirely unique as people may perceive it as

 

I like Avatar because it has a very good message.

I liked romance in Titanic.

 

avatar is better in everything than titanics, except the romance story.

Sad to say, as long as those movies have been out, I have not seen either of them. So i guess i need to make a choice. Any suggestions as to which one I should watch first?

 

Titanic is a classic that can't be beaten. There are of course a lot of other romance movies that are better like Casablanca and Gone With The Wind. They actually beat Titanic by a long shot in terms of acting and other movie elements. However, Titanic is one of my all time favorites. Also, note that Titanic won 11 Oscar awards. Personally, I think it's better than Avatar because it's not just any love story. It's a unique love story because it involves Jack sinking in the water at the end. A lot of love movies can just be between two teenagers who fall in love somewhere, anywhere really. However, Titanic is a one of a kind love story that takes place on water and involves a lot of actual physical conflict.

Not only does it involve physical conflict but also emotional conflict. A good story has conflict. Without conflict, no story can take place and Titanic had a lot of it. You can't enjoy a warm pleasant summer until you feel a bitter cold winter night. For example, in Titanic, Rose couldn't trust Jack fully and learn to enjoy life to the fullest until she faced hardships with Jack. Now, I'm not saying that Avatar didn't have conflict, but it just wasn't the conflict that I was looking for between two individuals.

 

Both was an awesome movie..
But i pick Avatar.

Titanic and Avatar - they both are different from each other in many aspects. They both are different in releasing also.
I would love both the films, alot.

 

the two have a different genre, so i can't say which is the best...but both do have a contribution in our movie industry.

i love titanic more, it reflects some part of our history.
