Avatar or Titanic?

If i'm correct, avatar overtook titanic as the highest grossing (?) movie of all time. Personally, I think this is a bit sad, as I'd rank titanic as the better film by far. which one would you rank higher?

 

They're both completley different from one another. Titanic is a true story and Avatar isnt, Titanic was made over 10 or 11 years ago and Avatar was made not even a year ago! lol

They're both great movies, but I'd have to say Avatar was pretty amazing, especially in 3D!!

Titanic is an all time classic and always will be. Nothing beats a good story.

Avatar. Titanic is too much of a cheesy love story built around the sinking of a ship that you know is coming.

 

Animation and epecial effects in Avatar are far too better than titanic or any other movie.

remember it is gross.
not only tickets cost more then they did when titanic was released,but they charged more because of 3-d glasses.

if they counted the number of tickets sold,it may be different. ;-)

personally,i got board with Avatar and turned it off.
Titanic i enjoyed very much.

The first movie i watched in English was Titanic and it was the only movie i like yet no other movie can replace its exit from my mind. Avatar i don't like much i feel like i am waisting my time while watching that movie so my vote goes for Titanic.

I wouldnt rank the plot of avatar that highly either..it didn't do much for me :/

 

I choose Titanic, it's classic. Avatar just feed my curiosity, that's all.
