My son is a professional actor and has been in some films. He and his acting buddies all thought this would suck but Roger Ebert just came out with his review and really liked it.
Well, i'm gonna watch this movie without any expectation, so that i can enjoy the movie for what it is..... But surly i would like to know, why it has taken 12 long years to complete the movie....
I booked Ticket for the coming Sunday . I'll let you guys know about the movie and post a Review about that movie here
Early Avatar reviews are positive Avatar had it’s first screening in London yesterday, and the buzz is very positive. Some newspapers that were there have already published their reviews and so far they are 100% positive according to rottentomatos.com. Head over to rottentomatos.com to read the full reviews. Early buzz on twitter and blogs around the net also confirm this positive buzz, Avatar are looking to be a great success judging from early reviews. I can’t wait till next Friday when I get to experience Avatar for myself the first time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhTyGcKBhpA&feature=player_embedded
I saw it yesterday and its truly amazing special 3-D effects. On a scale of 10, it gets a 7.5 from me. *** (3 out of 4 stars) I'll probably see it one more time in theater and will most definitely buy the Blu-Ray disc (but not 3-D) when it comes out. Not sure if the movie is as spectacular in non-3D version. Many of the "oohs" and "aahs" in the audience were because of the way things seem to pop out of the screen.
