avatar competition

hi everyone, im running a competiton on my website ( http://www.mytvtalk.com ) im giving the users and opertunity to make their own avatars that everyone can use.

The best images i will upload into the forum gallery to be used as avatars.

if any one is interested in having a go then all you have to do is make an image no bigger than 80px by 80px and it cant be larger than 6kb in file size and it would be a good idea to be related to tv content.

i hope this is the rite place to put this section.

if you dont fancy having a go do you think this is a good idea to get some people to join the forum and start posting? thanks

to get the work featured on the website for everyone to be able to use? or is this a dumb idea?

 

anyone think this is a good or bad idea? thoughts would be appreciated.

 

I think the response in this thread says it all, expecting others especially in a commercial forum like Digital Point is a bad idea. Offer prizes for best designs and I am sure you will start seeing entries.
