Thinking about using this theme. But read it is not very user friendly. Is this true? I do not know anything about code or wordpress so that worries me abit.

Any other themes you guys recommend?

    Hi,

I would not recommend Avada theme. It is not because it is not good or not suitable for your site. Avada theme has been out on the market for 2 years. The developers have spent two years in enhance and adding features into the theme. It is one of the most powerful WordPress theme with a reasonable price in the market.

However, powerful and many features are not always good specially for beginner. In the end, it may becomes burden and overwhelming for beginner.

I suggest this theme, Hueman. It is built for magazine and blog theme. It is a lot less complicated. The best part is it is FREE.

I have used it for a range of things but its not inherently suitable for your specific task. Its a bit more business centric.

I'd agree with this in general for WP starters. Then again, if you're willing to put in a lot of hours and put in a lot of asking questions and learning then you should be fine. We all learn but sometimes the slow and steady steps will lead to greatness. Go for a theme that has a pagebuilder or something of that sort.
