I know both offer a pretty good service - GetResponce is slightly cheaper, but AWeber is more well-known. What do you guys recommend? I'm more interested in the backend and the interface being easy to use - so I'm interested to here from those currently using both. Thanks guys, Cheers, Martin
I used getresponse in the past but I signed up to Aweber last week for my new project and it's the nuts - interface is very simple and un-complicated. From what I remember of getresponse, this was far from the case. I'd go with Aweber. Pete
I haved used both, but prefer Aweber. And as Bali stated, they have a pretty decent deliverability rate.
Ive had good experiences with Aweber, never used Getresponse but I know both of these services are on par with each other as the best in the business.
I think for the newbie should go for get response. Not because it is slightly cheaper but a newbie should learn the basic before aweber. personally i am using GetResponse.com..just my feel
Are there any services that don't require a credit card for payment? I don't have one, and have no desire to get one (a card that is..)
Thanks guys - looks like it's AWeber. I tested AWeber's support. The automated response to my query was they'll get back to me the next business day, yet it came within 30 minutes - impressive. WillB - maybe send a support question to AWeber - it can't hurt.
Both are comparable. I've tried both but eventually went with GetResponse and have been happy. It's very easy to use. I wrote a review of both of them on my blog at http://iwantpennies.blogspot.com if you are interested. Brian
What if I'd like to also support french email prospects? aweber answered me that they don't support french, that I can change any editable text (emails are sent with english charset however) but I can't change any non-editable text. I don't know about getresponse, but there's a comparaison chart: http://www.getresponse.com/comparison.html where aweber is competitor 1, it seems there's more TICKS for getresponse than competitor 1 on this chart, of course it's made by getresponse, but I haven't find the same on aweber and I wonder if getresponse would be better for supporting other languages?
