Start with free report or e-book with subscription Give people highlight of the product you recommend and give them affiliate link 2 reminders to check out affiliate recommendation give away free bonus Add 1 or 2 sequences of content--ie free articles with affiliate link create another free report or use one from a second affiliate program insert several links into report into affiliate program's site schedule it 14 days after last message when they subscribe---five of email series selling lead product two weeks later---free report for another affiliate product
I would say that you should give GOOD content for the first maybe 2 weeks, to build trust. Then you should start to soft sell. But in the process, still continue to give good content. The key is to build a good relationship with your list, and you will reap the benefits.
