Automotive related affiliate programs

I run a fairly large automotive commuity website (~10,000 members), and have up until recently not taken advantage of the site's monetizing potential. Mostly because it's my hobby and the fact that member donations have pretty much covered all administrative cost.

Now I want to try and make a few bucks off of it, but I'm unwilling to market ANYTHING that isn't at least related to the site's topic (Tools are ok. iPods are not...).

Ebay is naturally a great choice, and I've been using AuctionAds for a couple of months with relatively good results. I'm also testing EasyAdsLive as an alternative. Still, I'm looking for something else that might perform well.

    Suggestions?

Oh, and I've also tried CJ, but I wasn't accepted by the advertiser that probably would have performed the best.

    hxxp://partners.nicheretail.com/howitworks.htm - car seats
    hxxp://www.cheapcarsearch.com/affiliates.php - car auction
    hxxp://www.decaldriveway.com/affiliates/ - plug-in cartattoo shop
    hxxp://classiccardvd.com/affiliates.html - classic vintage car dvd's
    hxxp://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/afprog.html - custom car parts
    hxxp://www.redlinegoods.com/affiliate.shtm - leather car goods
    hxxp://www.paintscratch.com/affiliate.htm - paint scratch products
hxxp://www.carprices.com/aff/read.html - car dealer search, they pay per lead.

That is all I have on my list of car related affiliate programs. I haven't use any of them, so I can't say which would work.

Depends on the automotive niche. Automotive forums do well with selling direct ads.

Yeah, I've had a couple vendors contact me about direct ads, but I'm very unsure about how much I should charge. Traffic is about 1,500 uniques a day.

    Try www.shareasale.com

They have a bunch of automotive advertisers and they are nicer than CJ.

I'd be interested in talking about placing some direct ads on your site, can you PM me some details and the url of the site? I do a lot of work for clients (and myself) in the automotive industry, there might be a match.
