I would keep it, it looks like you have a bit of work put into it. As for the spam, you just need enough mods to keep up with it, which getting mods is easy, seems everyone wants to be one nowadays. Plus I did a search for "lexus forum" on google and you were not even listed on the top 20 which should be easy as well. So if you got enough mods helping you and you got in the top 10 in the search engines (for more terms than just "lexus forum" which is still very doable) then I think it would start to catch on like you originally dreamed about. Sorry, hate to see someone quit on a dream when they seem so close to success.
ClasiOne; I have a forum as well...(autism related). I wouldn't give up, but you may need to change to a more spam protectable forum software...like vbulletin. I use SMF and that has worked ok as well Best; Eric
