I own the site ponyforums.com which is a forum for Ford Mustangs. I need some help getting more traffic in and then build up an affiliate program. Any ideas on getting a consistent traffic? I have been updating and maintaining it everyday. I have a facebook page with 600+ followers and post on other forums with a link in my signature. Any other suggestions? I am willing to spend some money but want it to be worth it. I started this site back in Jan/Feb so I need something to kick start it. I have a few loyal members on there but I need a few more to make it look more active. I have also searched around on this topic a lot but want to get more opinions specific to my site. Thanks.

Having a Giveaway or a Contest is probably the best way to jump-start your forum, assuming you can get the word out. Try contacting some major automotive bloggers and offer them some cash to announce your contest on their blogs, that should do a good job of getting the word out.
