It is a difficult track (mid 14 from a new Z06 is just a shitty driver though) C5 Z06's ran consistent 13.4's there stock. I totally confused your posts with the guy that has the turbo honda.
Not really hard, just expensive. A friend of mine has a Camaro that ran low 10s all day long. He put together a new motor, cost him around $10k and now he can run very high 9s. How fast can you go? That depends on how much you spend. Me, I've got less than $5k into my car, and it goes low 12s. I could throw another $1000 at it and get in the 11s without much trouble. Or, I could tweak a few things here and there and get it to around a 12 flat and run a high 11 on a day with really good air. I've got this hat, you see, and it's full of numbers. I just pulled one out! Nah, I'm kidding. I found a calculator that seemed pretty reliable, I plugged in your weight and HP and came up with those numbers. But you're right, every vehicle is different, as is every track, every driver. Those numbers would be (could be) for absolutely perfect conditions, which you'll never see. It also depends on the driver. A lot of the vette guys baby their cars, I haven't seen one yet that'll go out there and beat the snot out of their street z06 to run a really good number. At least that's how it is by me.
it's the same here. Especially easy to understand with the new Z06 given their going price of 85K at the stealerships.
A portuguese petrol head here. I have quite a few automotive related websites, the oldest one is www.sprinttotal.com wich is being remodeled. My newest website was for my current car, a Peugeot 406 Coupé, but I dont think you guys in the US know this car

Loved your car, really nice! I had a 106 XSI with the 1.3 Rallye engine (was a special edition for Portugal) before buying the Coupé, great chassis. Your 306 rocks
