    If the posts are made within eight hours of each other, the poster can edit his last post to include his latest thought/thoughts.

    If you find that a poster is making the same point through two consecutive posts or that the points made in such posts by the same poster are connected, you can report the second post. If your reason for reporting is valid, mods merge it in most cases. I just reported a case of this.
