Automatic sitemap generation

    Is there any script exist which automatially generates sitmap file. I mean sitemap.xml for google sitmap...

    xml-sitemaps.com limits you to 500 pages. If you have a big site, this is a problem. If you use Dreamweaver, try Surveyor. It will index unlimited pages and even submit the XML sitemap to search engines for you.

    How about wordpress plugin for sitemap ? I have been looking for it too,prefer if its auto update.Any suggestion here..?

    You can automate A1 Sitemap Generator. You can even automate it in such a way that it resumes earlier website scan and then scans for e.g. 10 hours each night. Then finishes off by creating and uploading sitemaps.

    Hi,

    It is better to generate sitemap manually when you have 500 or less web pages and not every page changes frequently.

    I use Inspyder SiteMap Creator to generate sitemap for my website. It creates sitemap automatically for unlimited number of pages. I recommend it.

    have you tried the Wordpress plug-in? - hxxp://www.arnebrachhold.de/projects/wordpress-plugins/google-xml-sitemaps-generator/ .

    It's really easy to implement and all you have to do after you upload the file in your Wordpress content/plug-in is to activate your plug in in the dashboard.
