ok, the other day i finally decided to sign up for cj, because i thought i would be able to make a lot of affiliate commisions through my shoe website. So, i applied for all the shoe affiliate programs, but for some reason a little less than half of them automatically rejected me. Why would they do this without even looking at my site??? I live in the US, and i have heard that living outside of the US is sometimes a reason for automatic rejection. Is it maybe because i just joined cj? i really wanted to become an affiliate of Zappos, what do you think I need to do so that im not automatically rejected from their affiliate program and others.
will i not get automatically rejected after im a member of cj for a certain amount of time??? ive heard 3 months some where...
When you have a look at Advertiser page, it gives you advertiser's profile including past performance. Conversely, when you apply as publisher, some advertisers check your profile through CJ built in software and reject you for lack of minimum past performance. Others analyse your profile manually. I do not think you need to do any thing except applying every 3-12 months. Just patronise the advertisers who accept you and have expectations from you. Of course you have option to contact an advertiser with your merits after your proposal is rejected.
No, CJ software has their selection criteria. As time passes, your may qualify. One such criterion may be "Site must have been running for at least 3 months".
First of all, if you want to avoid all the waiting, join some other affiliate networks such as ShareASale and PepperjamNetwork. I am sure that they have some shoe store affiliate program as well. If you think any rejection is inappropriate, you can always send an e-mail to the merchant telling them why you should be approved. This normally works.
