Come on now, let's keep this in hypotheticals.
IF I were releasing it, it could be used for blackhat or whitehat...
Although really, nothing involving directories is blackhat...I'm the only blackhat I know that even plays with directories. For some reason, I just never let them go. What can I say, I love watching the submissions jump from 0 to 500 in like 45 seconds :)
Besides. If I were going to release this, it'd have to be on a pay-per-site basis. It'd be a waste if the trick got out, or if someone torrented the source(it's in php, so source is available and redistributable).
It'd be a pretty nice business though. Pay a bounty on unfound, compatible directories(10 unknown=1 submit)?
Heh. I'll have to think on this.

Now vnviews/digixmas, if you want to talk business, give me a PM with some contact info.

I always do manual submissions. It is not that time consuming.

To several hundred directories? Life is too short for that.

Let's say some software would cost $50.00. Take how many hours it would take for you to submit to say, 700 directories. Divide 50 by the number of hours. There you have your hourly wage doing it manually.

Btw, if someone with established software wants to buy out the trick of faking reciprocols, or a few other tricks I have up my sleeve...it could save me the hassle of putting up a site, and give the interested party a boost over their competitors...

    AllSubmitter works in five modes
    1. Semi-automated
    2. Smart Semi-automated!!! (c) Webloganalyzer
    3. Automated
    4. Automated + Captcha Cracking
    5. Automated + any!!! captcha (manual input)

And the most important thing you independently create bases

How many there is your time?
    It is unreal!

Touche. Should have read better. Well, at least I'd still have the recip faker. Wow, this is the largest discussion of a hypothetical business ever.
