Automatic centering, cropping, resizing of product images?

    Hello,

is there any solution that could automatically resize, crop, center product images?
I have some hundreds of product images on a white background. The sizes are different, the white space between the edge of an image and the product are different too.
All of that should be even... Which means that every image should be centered and cropped automatically and resized too.

    What software solutions are there?

You can use Photoshop Action to do this. But First time you have to create this Action with your desire requirements.

Fastest way to do it.. is by hand! :)

    1. Create photoshop template for web, let's say 200x200 pixels RGB 8bit or what.
    2. Open Bridge>find your folder where are your images OR open new folder in new window and cascade vertically photoshop and your folder with images for easy dragging.
    3. Drag first image
    4. Resize while holding SHIFT (If Transform function is not activated, click CTRL+T)
    5. Now press CTRL+ENTER to approve your transformation
    6. CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+S to save for web and save in default folder with desired name to save time (choosing folder each time will take 5 seconds)
    7. Repeat hundreds of time. In two hours you will be the winner :)

    Hope it will help!

As mentioned above, setting up an Action in Photoshop is the best way. I used to do a lot of batch editing with ThumbsPlus when I was a Windows user, so that's another option.
