I have noticed that there are plenty of automated websites pulling their content usually from Youtube. Those selling these websites want you to believe that this all the time updated content will get you in the search engines thus driving loads of traffic to your site with no work on your part. I fell for this for a few websites and I am lucky if I get a visitor a day. Have any of you had such experiences? If you have gotten traffic, was it because of your marketing efforts or the fact that these automated sites really do bring in traffic on their own?
No one will sell you a cheap website in any niche if it was to be successful. If they are successful they would keep them for yourselves. Dont worry I fall for these things all the time. Sometimes they have some good ideas that you can take but thats about it. Hard work is the only way unfortunately.
akdiver, do you think that search engines list automated sites at a lower priority than non automated websites?
