Automated twitter poster, is this too much?

I recently opened a site that lists proxies to the public. I made a script that posts to twitter once an hour reporting how many working proxies are available. Is once and hour too much, and will the posts be too bland if they are simple stating how many working proxies are available?

    Thanks,

I guess that it is also fine as long as these are not mere duplicates of one another. :)

Yes, I believe the limit is 150 hits to the api per hour so you should be just fine.

I usually do one every 30 mins, know some people who set one up for every 5 minutes. Providing the content is unique and not simply repeating and spamming then I can't see a problem.
