automated @reply?

Any particular recommendation for software that sends out an @Reply to a person(s) who has recently followed me? So something like "@John, @Ralph, @Susie thanks for the follow! Check out my website at www.stub.com." I see this all the time but am not sure how it's done. Preferably free, but I guess that's obvious.Thanks!W

 

If a person starts to follow you, then there is no need to mention them because they know your website URL from your profile. This would only annoy users.

 

Exactly unless you want to have an automated direct message.

There's one called Tweet Attacks that does that, but ti's really spammy I'd recommend you try a different approach.

Well, this tool is used mainly for spamming, hence the name.

 

TweetAdder is the best by far.

 

I emailed Tweet Adder and they said they don't have this particular fucntionailty. Have you figured out a workaround? Thanks.

 

Tweet Adder does an auto reply. They have a feature that if someone follow you it sends a message to thank them or whatever. I've used TweetAdder for years. would not use anything else.

 

So do you mean a Direct message or it sends a tweet like, "@SoandSo, thnaks for the add"? I agree thet Tweet Adder looks quite impressive. Thanks
