Automated Product Feed frequency has anything to do with Product Ads performance?

The question is self-explanatory but let me clearly describe my question. I have a Google Merchant Account and using products ads on Adwords to promote those postings. Until recently i was using manual product feeds where i upload to Merchant account weekly. But this week i was able to make my Volusion work to create those automated product feeds. Now i have a chance to generate daily product feeds. Here comes the question: what would be the best frequency for automated product feeds? Does changing the frequency help with Product Ads performance at all? Or the update frequency of a feed has nothing to do with AdWords, and it all depends on how updated product availability i want to have on Google?

Hi Mehmet, I work for Volusion and noticed your question. I asked our PLA team and this is the response they provided:

The best frequency for automated product feeds can depend on how often you make changes to your pricing, stock status, etc. For many merchants, daily submissions work well or even updates every few days. However, if your stock status fluctuates widely throughout the day, or most days you change your pricing several times, then you may want to submit multiple times a day.

Changing the frequency of the feed submissions does not affect performance with all other things being equal. Google will keep your products listed for up to 30 days from your last submission. However, where the performance occurs is if you have a product listed at $50 on your site, but you have it as $40 in your feed simply because you have not updated your feed since changing prices. A shopper may click through to your site, expecting to pay $40 (since that is what is shown on Google), but then are surprised to find the price is $50 once they arrive to your online store. At this point, they may navigate away from your site, but you have already paid for the click to get them to come to your site. To avoid this scenario, keep in mind how often your product information may update when you are planning the frequency of your submissions.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have other questions.
    Good luck!

    Hi Reed,

Appreciated for the effort and the answer. That removes the hesitation. I will continue with daily updates to prevent any lead conversion failure.

    Best,
    Mehmet
