Automated pinging when RSS feed is updated

    Is there some way to automate the pinging process when updating your RSS feed? Eg, you ahve a script that updates the XML file, then automatically pings RSS search engines like syndic8?

    pinging manually is time-consuming :(

    What blogging software are you using? WordPress does it for you automatically.

    Also, take a look at http://www.pingoat.com/ - I think they cover most places you need to ping.

    Nah, custom script. Besides, it's not a blog, it's a feed of our articles.
