Automated link exchange programme - is this a link farm by another name?

    Hiya

Has anyone used the following link exchange service from Blackwood? What was your experience? Was it worthwhile or would you count this as a link farm?

    also at
    http://www.mysearchexchange.com/

It adds a directory and webportal page to your sites with automated reciprocal links to relevant sites.
I've added it to a site with PR1 to test it a couple of weeks ago. Before this I hadn't done much with the site, there were no reciprocal links - all incoming links from blogs and forums.
The sites I am getting are broadly relevant, but not necessarily ones I would chose.

    All thoughts and comments welcome.
Here is my site - oops can't add a live link - you will have to cut and paste - www.freshbusinessideas.co.uk

    Thanks

I also recently added it to one of my web sites. But there are no significant results yet.

They have less value when compared with real links. Also most of these programs are hosted from the script providers server so you dont benefit from the PF of the actual link page.
