Can anyone recommend any good automated bookmarking and/or link building tools? I tried Link-Assistant, but it wasn't really my cup of tea. I've heard a lot of good things about Bookmarkingdemon, but haven't actually purchased it myself yet. Any others that are similar?
I would also like to know. I want to find an easy to use bookmarking and link building tool. I'll Google Bookmarkingdemon and see what it's all about. If I decide to buy it, I'll let you know what I think of it.
I've never tried Bookmarkingdemon, but most of these link tools just seem to submit your link to worthless link directories. If you ever find one that is truly useful, please let us all know.
I have heard that most of the so called automated bookmarking and / link building tools do not work well, if you do not want to do the submission yourself I suggest you pay someone to manually submit your site for you.
It's for sale in your signature, so you don't have to go far to try it! If you do try it, please let us know how well it works. Or do it manually like many do. Roboform is great for filling out those signup forms...
OK, bought Bookmarkingdemon and I have to say I'm very impressed so far. It makes it very easy to submit to multiple bookmarking sites and "scuttle" sites. It will also randomize keywords, titles and descriptions. It also makes it really easy to create multiple accounts with different logins/passwords at these sites. It's obviously very well thought out and apparently updated regularly by the developer. You can also use proxy servers with it. I've spent quite a bit of money using services here at DP to submit sites to social bookmarking sites and have had good results, but now I think I can just do it myself for all my sites. I've really been looking for some way of building a lot of backlinks quickly for multiple sites without having to spend $20-40 a pop and this seems to fit the bill. In fact I bet a lot of the people who submit sites in the "services" forum use this software. I think the trick is not to overdo it, but I can see how this will let me build tons of backlinks in no time if I use it regularly but sparingly. Anyway, so far so good. Seems like a worthwhile investment for me! Now I want to find the equivalent for directory submissions.
Yes, that's the key. There must be some around that submit to decent directories with some PR and not just FFA sites. I think I have the social bookmarking part of things taken care of now though.
Normally decent directories with PR = a long wait to be reviewed or free submissions deleted. How many bookmarking sites are in BookmarkingDemon, and how does it handle registrations?
Looks like about 20 or so bookmarking sites, but then it also will automatically search out scuttle sites and there are probably about 50 of those I've gotten so far. The developer says he updates it monthly, to keep up with changes and add sites etc. For registration, it pops up a form where you can enter a list of Names and logins and passwords separated by commas. Then it goes through and registers each one and pops up a captcha for you to enter. So the whole process of registering a new account at all sites takes about 30 seconds. It also lets you save the logins/passwords as "profiles", so you can load them later and not have to re-enter info.

I use the bookmarking link in my signature to bookmark sites. It works much better than bookmarking demon. For link exchanges I use Linkmetro (www.linkmetro.com) and use an automated macro script to submit to it. If you guys want you can purchase the macro ($100) and I can send you the script for free. The macros basically automates your computer. I have a separate computer that I use solely for macros (you can see it scrolling down the pages, clicking on links, filling in data etc). It can also be used for a lot of other things. Please pm me with any questions you might have

The BEST software out there is DigiXmas directory submitter. Simply amazing considering it's free. Every link building webmaster should own it.
Free for 150 directories, but $15 to unlock full version per domain. Still, @ $15 it's well worth it...
