Automated blogs - Good or Bad?

I see a lot of packages of automated blogs for sale fore relatively small amounts of money and was wondering whats everybodys opinion on them

Also has anybody had experience with them and did they pay of in the long run with adsense etc and do you need to advertise them or is it all just SE traffic

I know i wont make longs but im looking for something to do over the summer when proxys go down

Google says they are spam. This could mean site being banned from adsense. I see blogger state in terms any automated scripts or blogs for increased search engine rank is spam and not allowed.

 

Has anybody actially been banned or is it just possible

I have the same question for a long time.

Google may start banning these sites all togother.

I do have a few and I am planning to get few more.

But do have a bad feeling abou them.

Any info/thoughts are welcome. - Good thread. (Rated it as Excellent)

Hmm well automating blogs for content i'm still looking in this area maybe i will make a few don't know

 

I got few xxx related auto blogs but I dont get much traffic from this. So I think it sucks.

 

I think this pretty much sums it up:

 

Good for the guys who got into them early on and made sites and sold them.

Little bit hard to make money.

I want to keep them and see if I can get some PR that would be nice.

So far they are an expense but not more than that.

Generally automated sites may be good idea for a while. Google likes changing and frequently updated websites. But I'm pretty sure that eventually Google will learn how to distinguish between them. So it's not good idea to create your business on such ground.
