1. First of all a so that people tend to do autoblogs, I`m curios if they really work and get some trafic. i don`t want 10.000 visitors per day but if i get 1000 per day in 6 months would be really nice. 2. I want to use it with wordpress, so i need a wordpress plugin I tried multipress(free), but adds some links at the end of the article, of there one, i`m not saying about the link back to the original article. 3. I want the plugin to be FREE, i don`t want to invest to much and it mite not work. 4.Does it eats a lot of resurses(badwith,) i want to use it on a shared web hosting, and i don`t want them to close my account. 5. If you can add something to help me please do so. Thank you,
Get ahold of Bob at "automatic blog". LINK Yes, they work, yes they can take up bandwidth if you are not careful and yes there are free plugins. The better plugins are the paid ones, of course.
I know the best plugins are paid, but should be something free to work as well, that don`t add links of there on, beside those to the original article.
I think you wanted to say that you don`t know where to download this plug-in there is the link to the free version. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/multipress-content/ I hope somebody knows a better one, and help me answer my questions.
I am going to assume that you are going to use the plug in responsibly so that we don't have to discuss copyright infringement and stealing content. First...there are free ones but the best ones cost money. Second..Anything you try with the attitude that "I don't want to spend money just in case it's not successful" WON'T be successful. Either commit like a grown up business person, or don't. But you will never be successful half assing anything. Third..Yes, some do eat a lot of bandwidth and can cause database crashes or frequent time outs..which is why I recommend you purchase a good one. If you continually cause problems on your shared hosting cluster because of your plug in, you could jeopardize your account. They work better on dedicated hosting. everything works better on dedicated hosting. Lastly, if you use it merely as a way to add content and you provide nothing else to improve your blog, it won't do you any good. It's a tool, not a magic formula. If everything else about your blog is not 100% it won't matter what plug ins you run you blog will still suck.
I will try to use the plug in responsibly and give a link back to the author, but I don`t want the plug in to add itself other links like multipress does. And about bandwidth I`m planning to add around 20-50 article per day, do you think that will be a problem? I will use this project as a test. I`m planning in the future to make a proper blog in witch I will write the articles. Do you know any free plug ins? Thank you very much for your answers.
That is waaayy too much. Overkill. On shared hosting you will definitely see problems if you try to feed all day long. I can't answer about free ones since i have never used one. Maybe someone else can help you out. I should add that you should have some original content on your blog and you still have to perform SEO.
I'm not trying to give advice about the SE's..just about using shared hosting and feeding 50 article excerpts a day. You don't need to do that much...more is not better...it's just more. You can feed 100 article a day and I could tackle the same niche, using the same design and the same plug ins and only feed 5 articles a day, plus 2 original articles a week and still beat you up and down the search engines. Autoblog is not a substitute for creating content, it's just a tool to add additional content. If you use all autoblog and no original content you will need 100's of blogs to make a minimal amount of money. Autoblogs do not place well in the serps. You can use that energy to make one good blog and make double that, with less work and expense.
I was thinking about 20-50 articles per day because, I`m taking them from the feed where the article are just a small part. But 5 per day should be good, aswell. I still didn`t find any free option for multipress. Can someone help me. Thank you,
Multipress is worth paying the money if you want to put little effort into your "initiative." I use multipress and I am totally pleased by it!
Posting more than about 3 times a day just screams autoblog. Not a good idea. It's also a good idea to add some unique content. One other point, just the autoposting plugin by itself doesn't bring that much traffic you have to apply other means to drive traffic. Best Wishes
I`m currently using this plugin Wp-o-matic to get the articles but, I fetch them myself from time to time and put them on draft, and schedule them to post at different intervals. At this point is just a test I in any case if I get 200-500 visitor per day in 6 months I will be very happy. @cyberlight witch other way to drive traffic do you suggest. Thank you.
if you are finding your autoblog is not working or more specifically your cron is not working it is most likely going to be associated with your hosting, i have found that cpanel hosting always works and plesk hosting you will have problems with
I don`t use cron, basically is a semi-automated blog, because I fetch the articles to draft and them see witch to publish or sometimes I add some pictures. Do you guys think that I should make a twitter account for the website? to auto post twittes when I publish an article?
Social Bookmarking is a simple one. There is a plugin called onlywire which is free. It will automate this for you. After that... Article marketing, Press releases,Video marketing. There are plenty more but those should give you a full plate until you can get enough cash to outsource and expand your business. Those are very effective and won't cost you. Best Wishes
