Is there any software or website that will auto-submit to places like digg, technorati, delicious, Stumbleupon, twitter etc? If so, is this ok or is it frowned upon?
always go with manual submission. you can use socialmarker which is semi-automated way of submitting to the sites you mentioned above thats works just like manual submissions
You could use something like socialmaximizer.com Basically you fill out the information once and they manually submit for you.
here is another solutions. you can import and export bookmarks from ei, firefox, delicious, mr wong and etc. so basically you submit them to one site and than you can import them at once to other website. and ofcourse you can code yourself to success by API
Man I am learning a lot from this forum. Thanks for the good info guys and the sites. I will check them out for sure.
Not sure if there are any free services/sites i would recommend for this as i just use senuke! Tom Brite
SocialMarker is by far the best. I havent seen anything come close to its interface. it is reliable as well, the others I dont trust.
can you add sites to the database for any of these submission software programs? If not, could become very limited after a couple months.
Bookmarking demon is of no use! (at least to me) I bought and asked for a refund! just one of those over hyped products out there at clickbank. It could be a bit better if they didn't over hype the product.
Some softwares are available on the web but never go for them and try to do it manually but if you do not have time enough then take any submission services who provide manual submissions. Remember-Manually Submission are always better than automated because of naturality.
Every Auto Submitter make good submission, but you better try to do this manual, because you can change title and description of your site in every single directory
There are programs that can change the title and description in every single social bookmarking site, its called spinning.
Exactly! That's why i choose senuke over bookmarking deamon as when i used it before it could only submit the same thing over and over again! Makes it look like spam too. Tom Brite
Senuke is a great resource, especially for web 2.0 marketing as it can solve captcha's automatically, register and make a post. It's not perfect, but more than 90% of submissions are successful. The only downfall of Senuke is that for a full functionality it requires additional costs (besides monthly subscription). Nevertheless it can save you a lot of time so for everyone willing to invest in their online business this tool is highly recommended.
Thanks for sharing, I tried to submit my websites by socialmarker.com ( a nice free service websites), but one website POP up some virus ( install google toolbar by goog inc ). so I have to quit.
