Auto submission to web directory

Hello,

few years back there was a online service that lets you submit your website into 1000's of web directory...But I have forgot what website was it.

If you know any online free service similar to that can you please let me know?

I suggest you stay away from doing that. You'll find that you get more traction out of submitting manually to 5 good / quality directories than you will randomly auto-submitting to 1000's of directories.. You have to figure that the great majority of the places you are being submitted to in that scenario are either no longer active, or just full of junk in terms of other sites. There is no substitute for taking your time and manually submitting your site to a directory.

 

no need to submit 1000 directories to your site. manually 5-10 high quality directories in a day, it is enough for website.

 

You seriously need to look into bad link profiles and how you get them. Your link building methods are years out of date.

 

It's a waste of time. If you really want to do directory submission, do it for your niche (and possibly regional, if it's appropriate).


When you look at a directory, check to see if it accepts every link free or paid (this means: it's accepting even spammy links) or if they are selective (none of the free/paid links are spammy). You want a good neighbourhood and one that's also relevant. A directory like that is more likely to be trusted by Google and therefore pass something to your site. Whereas links in a spammy directory will just be ignored.

If you can't find a directory for your niche, don't cry and move on.

Why are you looking back for your old years directory submissions technique..Submit your site manually in directories by selecting suitable category for your site..It will be beneficial for your site instead of taking the risk of any spamming activity..

 

There are a ton of people offering such services even here on DP but at the others have pointed out, this is not a very good plan, as it could very well harm your site, especially if it is new and this is the first SEO you are doing on it.

 

Are we seriously still talking about automatic directory submissions?

 

Semi -automated will not effects .There are many semi automated tool available on web.

 

submit manually to directory is the best idea. paid directory is alternatively.

What you need are a few good directories that are well maintained that you can submit to manually. This often involves cultivating a good relationship with a couple of directory owners. The automated or even semi-automated is just asking for trouble from google.

 

I am new to SEO stuff, and I recently learned about directory submission but I agreed that all those links claiming automatic directory submissions are 50% junk and that one should only submit manually to 4 to 5 high quality sites.

 

Maybe you were referring to 4DL.info , the only automated directory submission service that unique algorithms behind to try to better match your website against a category (in case your chosen category was not found on the remote site)

 

Agreed, stay away from auto submission tools as the list of directories will include all kinds of directories, including those which have been penalised by search engines such as Google.
