Hello, [Firstly I would like to say I am sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section, I don't know exactly what it fits into ] Well... I'm never really approached RSS feeds before and I'm looking at creating a website that takes RSS feeds from football news websites and posts them automatically. Basically what I'd like to know is how it's done in general, is it simple or is it hard?
If you can code in PHP it's very easy, if you can't it's somewhat easy. RSS is Really Simple Stuff I'd say that's a good idea, and totally legit providing you link to the source
Well, if you are capable of coding anything and have some time to spare, google SimplePie. It answered just about all the questions I had concerning RSS. While I'm not a PHP coding pro, the learning curve of a few weeks helped me get on track with everything I needed to know, they even have a nice support forum where the main guy developing it is pretty responsive to questions.
