Has anyone tried godaddy's autorenew feature? I have one set to auto renew tomorrow and I thought I would ask if there are any horror stories or does it go through smoothly and on time?
if you know you're going to renew it... just renew it manually. No horror stories here since I've ditched GoDaddy long ago .
Yeah that is my plan, but some I haven't had in my account long enough to transfer away yet. Seems every time I buy a domain, it is registered at godaddy.
I forgot cancel a junk domain auto renew and it has been auto renew. i lost $8 dollars. i still feel horror.
My advice would be to renew them yourself just incase. Or if you plan for it to auto-renew, make sure that your c/c is still valid!
GoDaddy gets on my nerves sending me emails notifying me to renew... Over and over again. That's why I don't like them really (amongst other things). You should just keep track of your domains and renew manually.
i would not set to auto renew as most of important domains that i have registered for several years and i feel safely.
