i dont know, but it could be risk ... generally links predicate about value of the site, but these links predicate nothing, so i think if google finds out it, it will have no value for your site or maybe horify

This is simply an automated link exchange network. Google already discounts reciprocal links. Given that all the links are served up by a script (which presumably everyone in their network is using), your "link directory" may not even be indexed due to duplicate content (which is not to say that you will get penalized for duplicate content, just not indexed).

Think of it like this. Displaying RSS/XML is a piece of cake. If I make an XML feed of all the sites in my directory, then write a small script to display that feed on another site, the second site is duplicating the content of the first. SE's are already aware of the content in my directory, and having the exact same content available elsewhere is not of any sigificant value to a websurfer, so SE's tend to ignore it. I ran into this problem when I first set up the network of directories in my sig. However, by offering up different content in addition to the duplicated content, I am able to add "value" to the duplicate content (at least in the eyes of the SE's algorithm). Since more value has been added, the pages get indexed. Some how I doubt that the "small 1kb file" they require you to install will allow you to add anything of value to "your" reciprocal link directory.

i think it's a big risk to use. you may loose everythink because of using it but you may also win too. as i said, it's a big risk
