I used to run cpanel and it had an auto installer that auto installed wordpress, is their anything similar available for plesk? thnx
Download wordpress from http://wordpress.org/latest.zip unzip to a local directory upload the files to your server configure easy enough and its a ton better than using the stale packages the come bundled with control panels.
If you do decide to get an autoinstaller, I think installatron is the plesk version. However, like the previous poster said, it's always better to download the latest and install yourself.
