Auto Insert Keyword(s)?

    Is there a feature to automatically insert the keyword(s) into each ad (title/description)? Adwords offers this feature where you simply enter {KeyWord} where you want it to be inserted and viola! Is this feature available for AdCenter?

    Yes,

    When you add your keywords you can optionally also add a specific target URL & two additional parameters against each. You can then use the following in your titles, descriptions & URLs;

    • {keyword}
    • {param1} - The target URL
    • {param2} - First optional parameter
    • {param3} - Second optional parameter
    This is very handy if you want do do something like this;

    Keyword.........................param2..........param3
    ----------------------------------------------
    Buy red widgets.................Red.............$19.99
    cheap red widgets..............Red.............$19.99
    clearance blue widgets........Blue..............$3.95
    Yellow widget delivery.........Yellow...........$5.15

    With an add like;

    • {keyword}
      Looking for {param2} widgets?
      Limited time only, just {param3}
      www.widget-store.com/{param2}
    Much more flexible than the adWords system!

    Of course the system is down (as usual) when I tried to log in to double check the syntax I've told you, so I hope it's right from memory! :(

    Thank you. Quick question? I thought AdCenter was not being launched until this fall after the MSN/Overture deal was finished? Either way if we use AdCenter currently on what sites are our ads shown?

    It's live at the moment in the US, UK, France & Singapore.

    It's only on Microsoft's own sites at the moment (search.msn.com, search.msn.co.uk, etc) no partner sites or content network yet.
