There are many twitter friend adders on the market. None of them will make people follow you, but you can follow others and get people to follow you. Don't use the free services that get you tons of random followers, they won't pay attention to what you post. Use a friend adder that helps you find people who are interested in your product.

Digital Point members can get my Twadder Friend Adder for only $15. It's well worth the price. There are a lot of other adders that are more advanced that are really useful as well.

 

I just use tweetdeck and keep it open all day, it buzzes when I get a new follower and then I might send them a personal message so it doesn't seem artificial.

I use socialoomph. It isn't a bad little tool. I like it because it will automatically send a direct message to your new followers. You can use more than one direct message that it will choose randomly and send to your new followers.

 

Wow, socialoomph is pretty cool...I can't believe it's free. The extended profile is helpful too.

 

I started using one - but was told by a lot of ppl not to use anything automated. If Twitter catches you - your IP will be blocked.

 

I suggest you don't autofollow too many followers at once, since you risk getting deleted

The best tool on the market is tweet adder. However it is expensive.

 

I also use socialoomph it is a great tool for twitter. People are much more willing to follow you if they know you will follow them back, especially newbies who are trying to grow there twitter account.

 

This is correct, don't follow more than a few hundred a day and don't follow more than 100 per hour. Also, there is a limit that sets in at 2,000 followed, and a ratio is set so you can't follow more people until you have more followers.

There are many things that will get you banned, but yes, this is a big reason.
