Auto close thread in freebie section

I know the answer will be no..but i still want to say it

the freebie section is getting more busier daily (thanks all you digg/stumble spammer), those people constantly reply to thread so the new posts
section are filled with thread from freebie.

last time i used new posts link, half of the new post is from freebie section.

is it possible that a thread is close right after it is made in the freebie so we can force them to exchange digg/stumble via pm only?<br>
