This is mostly offline as my niche is devoted to a certain region. It's a auto classifieds website I'm trying to get going and of course my biggest competitor is autotrader which is nationwide in my country but holds a small market share of the number of vehicles in my region. So I was wondering, what could be some methods of getting people to post their cars up on my site? All the classifieds are free and the quality is much better then Autotrader but it's hard to convince people to put up cars when you have 0 listed. I've emailed the dealerships in my area, posted brochures on windows and at Universities but still no go. Any ideas would be appreciated.
