The site spiders news from amazon categories and brings them into the site. The site uses RSS feeds from Amazon to update it's content.

It's basically a quick and easy way for people to see what's new and what's popular on amazon.

How does the site make money?

The site makes money in a number of ways.

1) Amazon Affiliation - When someone clicks on a product and follows a link to the amazon page and purchases a product, you get commision for each purchase.

2) Google Adsense - There are adsense ad's that are put in optimized positions on the website. Adsense automatically crawls content on the page, so if a user is looking in the xbox 360 sub category, adsense will automatically search for advertisers trying to draw in attention to those products. It's more than likely the viewer is interested and you'll go on to earn money from adsense.

There is an admin control panel where categories can be added/edit/deleted. There is also the ability to add more RSS feeds from amazon itself. Instructions on how to add more products from amazon is included, it's very simple to do.

Users can create an account and comment on different products.

Technical stuff..

Do you do this for .info only or can we have our own names .com etc...?

 

I can do .com's but it will be $10 extra for each .com as they are more expensive for me to purchase.
