e-onlinedata.com appears to be cheaper than going directly through authorize.net i have two questions here

    1. can anyone provide some of your past workings with this website (e-onlinedata) as to if they are reliable

    2. anyone know any better or cheaper resellers that work with authorize.net that are similar to this site

e-onlinedata is a merchant account provider basically:
Authorize.net is only an electronic payment gateway (like Payflow and LinkPoint). You need both basically to accept credit card transactions on your website.

Authorize.net is an electronic payment gateway. Almost all ISO/MSP (merchant account providers) are compatible with that gateway. Authorize.net advertises their services but you cannot accept credit cards on your website with just an Authorize.net account. You need a merchant account as well.

Other ISOs / MSPs that work with Authorize.net would be First Data, Wells Fargo, Chase / Paymentech, etc. If you look at their reseller page, you will see ISOs/MSPs and agents listed that would be able to provide you a merchant account and the electronic payment gateway

Their reseller list, consists only of resellers that do a certain volume of authorize.net accounts each month. They are most likely all legitimate companies.

The best place to look for a company's history is the BBB and Hoovers. If they have been in business for a while, they should have detailed listing in both places. The BBB is good because you can see how many customer complaints a company has, and how they handle them.
