We have been using blue pay for the last 1.5 yrs, which has been working fine. We are now switching to Authorize.net. I thought all I woul dhave otdo was change the drop down to Authorize.net and set my user name and password. Here are some quesiotns regarding this: Authorize.net uses AIM & SIM, 'Advanced Intergration Method' and 'Simple Integration method' and strongly discourages you to not enable their weblink function. (Which I have enabled anyway) My authorize.net account is pretty much in it's default state (except a transaction key has been generated and test mode is off.) I was getting error code 3, transaction not accepted, until I enabled weblink and used my regular login password vs the transaction key. Now I am getting AVS errors. This same test account (my CC & name) worked with blue pay just fine. Is there a step I am missing? Will SIM or AIM be (or is it already) supported? Thanks, Lee
CCAuthorize (what Optigold utilizes) already uses AIM. Enabling web link really should not have any effect on it. If you turn it off, do transactions stop working? Also, what version of Optigold ISP and CCAuthorize are you using?
CCauthorize is 2.6.77 Opti is 3.2 I changed the option in the AVS (set now to send zip, address & ccv) before it was set NOT to send ccv. Now transactions process properly. Yes, it still does work with the weblink disabled. Everything seem to be working good now. Thanks. One more question: Why do I need to use my login password that I use on their web site for Opti? My other realtime software uses a transaction key instead. Doesn't make much difference to me, just wondering. Thanks, Lee
I think you might be able to set it up either way with CCAuthorize (in the authorization key field), but I don't have much experience with it, since everyone seems to use login/password since it's easier.
Hello, We are using optiogold 3.3.2 and Authorize.net (CCAuthorize Plugin) We recently received a notice that authorize.net will be disabling "weblink" and we should convert to use "AIM" or "SIM" and then hit disable in our Authorize.net account. Before I commit to "disabling" weblink, is there a way I can confirm I am already using AIM or SIM right now? Thanks so much! Ken
fyi.... I was able to disable weblink with authorize.net and it had no ill effects on OG's ability to process the CC's. Ken
