Authorize.net error key?

I got this stuff installed last month.
    Initially, cards processed correctly.
    I'm still on demo.
I'm into the first 'REAL' billing cycle (month 2) and I get this:

ERR: missing or invalid activation key
Contact Vendor of this software for a new activation key

I looked in the forum and found some stuff, but I'm not sure what I really need.

The CCAuthorize demo is good for 4 weeks, it's not indefinite (we don't make it).

    OK.
Are there other options for credit card processing?
I budgeted enough to buy the OptiGold but the plugin is a little steep.
ISP business is not what it used to be.

    1) Can I export & use other software?
    2) eAuthorize is now available for VeriSign Payment Gateway using Payflow Pro, will it work with OptiGold? It's a one-time $250 fee.
    3) WebAuthorize?

You can use WebAuthorize or PC Authorize Hub without any plug-in costs (the manufacturer makes their own).

On the "custom" processor for credit cards,

Can I use this to trigger an server event?

Does it just do an "export".

If it's just an export, when, how, and where does it export?

It's just an export... triggered when you run the Bill Customers (on the main menu).
