A household name in the tennis community stevegtennis is the oldest tennis results website on the web, established in 1996.

The website provides day to day results for every professional tennis tournament (atp, challenger and future tournaments). Archived on the website is the results for every single professional tennis tournament in the last 14 years as well as every weekly professional tennis ranking for the last 14 years. No where else on the web is this amount of tennis info archived.

As the first pro tennis results website Stevegtennis was never promoted. Word of mouth and search engine rankings provided all the exposure it needed. In its hay day (4-5 years ago) traffic was nearly triple what it is today. Since then both ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) and ITF (International Tennis Federation) started providing results on their websites. However stevegtennis has remained just as popular as the other 2 results sites due to its siplicity, ease of use, archives and loyalty of its users.

The website is currently averaging around 5,000 uniques a day and averages close to 800,000 page views a month. PR 5 with over 27,000 organic backlinks and excellent google rankings (authority site) ranked above espn and yahoo sports for most related keywords.

The site was never monetised until just the last few weeks testing adwords on the home page. The adsense on the homepage alone averages about $5.00/day. There is also a "sponsored by" top banner area that we estimate to be worth $200-300/mo. Currently we are just advertising one of our other websites there. With proper and more targeted ad units or selling individual ad spaces we believe in the right hands this website can earn a decent income.

The website does take time to keep updated. Approx 1 hour a day to keep the results on the website and forum updated. This is the main reason we are selling as we will not be able to keep the website updated in the near future due to time restraints. However We will continue to keep it updated untill a new owner is found. Voluenteers do help keep up with results in the forum occasionally and this makes it a bit easy to post the results to the webiste. The work on the site could possibly be outsourced for cheap.

The traffic it recieves is close to 100% "tennis" targeted. This could be a great opportunity for someone with the right business plan to monetize or utilize this traffic.

We do not have google analitics installed on the website. Cpanel screen shots are the only stats we can provide at this time.

Thanks Mob. I am aware of Flippa and may consider listing it there. I am actually going to remove the BIN (if I can figure out how to) and just consider offers at this time as ATP or ITF (the 2 main tennis assocations) may be interested in aquiring this website for a higher price and we are looking into that.
However a quick sell would be great and we encourage offers.

 

Does that mean the BIN price is no longer valid?

 

After some miscomunication with my business partner on this sale and some reconsideration we have decided to change the BIN to $10,000. We listed in on flippa as well for this price. Unfortunatly I dont think I am able to edit this post to mark those changes although I will contact the admin to see if they can make the changes. I apoligise for listing this sale incorrectly.
This will be a week long auction and if the BIN of $10,000 is not met by then we will sell it to the highest offer recieved. We allready have 1 offer
