Have a look at their itinerary: http://www.searchengineroom.com.au/ Is it worth coughing up AUD$475 and AUD$50 for the google breakfast? Google breakfast: "Special session from Google, which delves into the future of search, and takes a look at linking and new search engine optmisation tools. This breakfast must be booked separately." Are we, the forum members, of digital point already well informed and up to date on: * Measuring Campaign Effectiveness * Bid Management * Getting Ranked On Google * Trends, Issues, Opportunities * etc...?
It's the other stuff going on in Sydney around teh same time that's more interesting. There's a few affiliate marketers meeting up etc. Looking at the itinerary of the actual conference I don't see much that makes me want to fork out the $500.
...well I would have missed it altogether if you hadn't of mentioned it... do you know anyone who went last year?... don't think there's much there for me - I'll pay the $500 for a one on one with Matt Cutts or Shawn or well there's a few dp'ers that would be great to sit down and chat with, but as for paying $500 to hear about some new trends (and like it's really 'NEW' news released in Australia!)... Maybe I was too harsh... here's their overview: Best Practice SEO as Mark1 said "the forum members, of digital point already well informed and up to date on..." Local Search IMHO a pointless topic - the whole global medium thing seems lost when these points are raised Branding and IP OK I get the whole branding thing... and well perhaps there might be something in the Intellectual Property topic?... Trends Conversion Pricing Site Accessibility Ok... then I just got a little bored... I think the money could be better spent
Yeah, From the itinerary its more like *yawn* Probably useful if you want to network with other people in the field. thats what the $500 is for.
