Australian Advertising Network

    Hello i have recently set-up www.Ausvertise.com.au

The site is the first of its kind based solely around Australian websites and there is yet to be anything that allows website owners to buy and sell webspace on selected sites that have a userbase of Australian users.
I was looking to purchase advertising on a few websites although it seemed that i had to contact the website owner personally to organise advertising prices etc and was a very lengthy process and that is how Ausvertise.com.au came about.

I am wanting some help getting website owners to sign-up and use the site and to spread the word that the site is availible.

Can some experienced users here give me some tips etc

    Thanks

Thanks like i stated in the first post there is nothing strictly for Australian websites.

I just need to find some publishers and advertisers to get it started.

Any tips on how to do so?

How exactly does your site work? Is it like this ...

I have an Australian website. I offer space on it for potential advertisers. Those advertisers go through your website to place their ad on my site?

    Best

Yep say you run a website thats target audience is Australian users you go to www.ausvertise.com.au register, then add your website and then copy and paste the code given and place it where you want on your site. When viewers are on your page they get a link where you placed the add saying advertise here they can then click the link and be taken to the sale page in which they can purchase advertising.

    For example see

Exactly what actions need to be taken for publishers to earn money?

Do we get paid only for advertisers that we've directed to your site?
Or do we get a contextual banner from the entire pool of advertisers, and get paid per click?

    Nice domain/business name btw :)

    Hey it works like this.

You register on Ausvertise.com.au you add your website, you then create your ads by setting whether you want image ads or text links.

After selecting which you want you get to customize your ads by changing the colour size etc to fit best with your site.

Then you must add a price, you can select to sell advertising per click, a certain time frame, per impression or all of the above.

You also have the option to receive offers, so potential advertisers can submit an offer to advertise you can then either accept or decline.

Once you have created your ad you copy and past the code onto your website in which it will display an advertise here link so that viewers may be directed to your sales page.

You receive $$ for every sale you make whether they come from your site or if they happen to just be browsing Ausvertise.com.au although you are most likely to get advertisers that have come from your site.

Are there any advertisers on the network? I'm interested in giving it a go, but there doesn't seem to be any incentive for me to test drive it.

Well there are no publishers at the moment so there arent any advertisers.

Incentive? How about 1 month without fee's?

Usual fee's will be 10-20% of your earnings so if you are making $100 a week Ausvertise.com.au will take $10-$20.
Not much seeming we run the ads and the site finds your advertisers for you, much easier than doing the organizing via e-mail.
