Australia or New Zeeland? Place to Live, Work and Raise a Family

Hi guys,

I am planning to relocate from Canada/US either to Australia (Sydney or Brisbane) or New Zeeland (Oakland) to work and leave there with my spouse and kids for about year and a half - 2 years, may be longer if we like to stay there. I've seen some of domainers here from those two countries and wondering if someone do not mind to answer few questions off-line or if you have any thoughts or resources to share with a potential migrant - please feel free to post them here.

Alex789 - are you nuts!? Have you seen all of the 'kill them with fire' insects and bitey, stingy, poison-you things that live in that part of the world?

 

I prefer Australia New Zealand its a nice country but I would like live in Australia

 

One of my old associates daughter was working in Australia and she had to really jump through hoops to live there. The restrictions are legion for foreigners or maybe just for Americans. Good luck.
