AudioRaider is a popular music search engine that uses the Google AJAX Search API to find MP3's and other audio files across the internet also known as "google hacking." It has also been very popular on sites like StumbleUpon and del.icio.us. Receiving 26,000 visits from StumbleUpon and 1700 from del.icio.us so far.


Revenue Details:
The site has only been monetized by placing a small adsense adgroup on the results page. I kept the ads very non-intrusive. If you wanted to put some more adsense adds on the frontpage or even wanted to try a related music affiliate program I think you could easily double your income and do well. Adsense revenue stats are only for 22 days in October, as the site was established on October 2, and adsense was not integrated until October 10th.


Traffic Details:
The site is ranked 11th in Google for "discover new music" without much on-site SEO. With an actual description on the front page I know that you could easily rank for a few other keywords. I just don't have the time to deal with the site and I would like to focus my time on my other projects. I did, however, do some extensive automated link building and the links should begin to show up in the next few months. If you would like to know the details, feel free to PM me.


The site is pretty easy to market for and appeals to a wide range of demographics. The site has not been marketed on social networking sites like Myspace at all, but would probably do very well. I was also planning on setting up some chat software or forums on the site to encourage return visitors and more of a community feel. I would be glad to assist the buyer with setting something up.
