Audio protection

    Hi there! I need to edit an *.wav song for my work... But I don't know how to remove the protection on it (((
    Are there any suggestions? :confused:

    It sounds like you are trying to defeat a copyright on a protected piece of intellectual property. Trust me, I am not getting high and mighty on you, but I don't think the DP form is the place to ask a question like that.

    There are lots of hacking/cracking websites out there that can help you solve your problem.

    I notice that this is your first post, so I will tell you from experience to stick around because you will learn a TON. Just don't try to exploit this forum for illicit things. Too many people depend on the SEO industry for their livelihood and if a high-profile forum like this one started offering the advice you are seeking it would tarnish us all.

    edit a wav? wav files should be uncompressed raw audio files, i never heard there's an copyright protection for any wav file
    what software are you using?

    My guess is either his WAV is corrupted or he doesn't have the correct codec... both will result in the file sounding garbled when playing back.
