I need a flash player that is able to play all mentioned file types on a web page. Do you know any?

I've been searching for an hour and didn't find anything useful. It seems that there are only .mp3 players out there.

Well, I am currently using the HTML5 <audio> tag for non-mp3 files but it sucks because not all browsers support my favourite audio extensions.

This is not what I want.

Yeah that is a bit of an issue. I didn't think anything adobe related deals with anything but mp3.

I was not sure if you were on WP or not. The only thing I found somewhat close was this http://codecanyon.net/item/uber-audio-wordpress-plugin/1359763 with a flash fallback. I don't think its actually being developed any longer but its all over the place ;) It may be worth a look though.
    • HTML5 with a Flash fallback
    • Multiple playlist manager in WP Admin
    • Plays .Mp3, .Ogg, & .Wav files
It should be pretty small, if not using wp its probably pretty trivial to rip the relevant bits out of it.

hope that helps, you are sorta stuck in technological limbo limbo here.

Unfortunately I have no use for that tool too because the flash player cannot support anything else than mp3, which sucks: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash/kb/supported-codecs-flash-player.html

The HTML5 solution doesn't work everywhere and even the author says that the safest possibility is using mp3 only. Argh.

(BTW I just realized that by writing "This is not what I want." in response to Revelations-Decoder I might have implied that I require a WP plugin, which is not the case of course.)
