I just signed up and got them on videogame-news.com Will give it ago for the rest of the month and see how they do. I suggested that they ad "eBay auctions" somewhere on the ads so people know it's a genuine site etc.
OK everyone i have been using auctionads on a site that averages 30$ per day from adsense can I post a comparison with auctionads or would i get in trouble?
well I can only speak for AuctionAds and like we have said before its your stats if you want to share them.
I've found it to be pretty useless so far but I'll leave it a little while longer. When ever I click the ads it takes you to a search page with a list of results, is it possible to change it so that it takes you to the exact auction that you click on?
when you say useless can you expand a little on that? If you are in the us it takes you directly to the auction. If you are outside the us it takes you to search listings. After months of testing with geotargeting we found that search listings for international eBays converted better. We are still monitoring and listening to feedback though of course.
Useless in the sense that it hasn't earned me anything yet I also think the ads should say "eBay auctions" on them somewhere so visitors know it's reputable (is that a word?) and more likely to click them. Yeah I'm outside the US so that must be why. I don't understand how it could convert better but I'll take your word for it. I just think people might give up if they click an auction they are interested in and have to search for it themselves.
2 reason we did not put eBay auctions realy... 1) eBay - we thought they might get mad if we made it look like it was done by them (they have been in development of there own for many years) 2) we have other online auction companies that have been talking to us throughout this process. We do not want to close any doors
